Its another leap year! Don’t they come round fast.  I was going to reflect on the past 4 years at Starlight Bingo, which have seen us grow in popularity and trust with our loyal bingo players, however, time didn’t allow for reflection, because we had a bingo gremlin in the works!

It wasn’t one of those cute furry type gremlins, but one that prevented some of our new players from registering.  We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that this caused, and I am happy to tell you that our fantastic IT team have successfully removed the gremlin (no animals were harmed during this process LOL).

Tonight, Friday 29th February, we are having two $250 ‘must go’ bingo games, playing once at 8pm and once at 9pm EST.  For our UK bingo players, this will be equivalent to Saturday 1st March at 1am and 2am. We will also have $50 pots and $2,500 jackpots playing between 9pm and 10pm EST, and the bingo cards are only 5 cents!

First off, I want to congratulate the qualifiers who will take part in the Bingo World Championship on 16th March. The qualifying rounds have been playing out for the past 3 months, with 5 players each month from Starlight Bingo qualifying for their seats.  We now have 15 of our loyal online bingo players who will be taking part in the grand event in March.  Congratulations to all of the following, and good luck in the main event:-

As with all bingo tournaments, it is sad for us not to be able to reward those that didn’t emerge as winners, but who came close.  Well this is where the good news comes in!  The boss has been in a great mood again recently, and at the beginning of February, he announced a bingo freeroll will take place.  Much like the online poker sites have poker freerolls to qualify for larger events, you will now be able to play in our bingo freeroll to try to qualify for a seat at the Bingo World Championship.

How will this work?  Easy. We will be giving away an additional 20 seats. To qualify for this bingo freeroll , you have to play just 1000 bingo games between 1st – 29th February 2008 and you will be entered into the 20 freeroll games. The winner from each freeroll game will be awarded a seat at the $10,000 Bingo World Championship 2008 Grand Final!!

The bingo freeroll event will take place on the 9th March at 9pm EST. To participate in the Freeroll bingo games  you will need to download the BWC software which  will be available after  the 2nd March  from  www.bingoworldchampionship.com  *Please note terms below.

You may be thinking that 1000 games is a lot to play and would cost a lot, but think again, with bingo cards starting at just 1p, this is going to be a breeze to qualify for.  And you can set your ‘auto buy’ option so that you don’t even have to be at your computer when the bingo games play!  There is still plenty time to enter for this, and who knows, as well as going through to the bingo freeroll, you could hit the progressive bingo jackpot whilst playing, as well as later becoming the Bingo World Champion 2008!

Terms for freeroll;

*Only one seat per player – if you win a seat during the Freeroll games, you must sit out the remaining games.
*Players who have qualified in the first three qualifying rounds are not eligible to participate in the promotion.
* In the event of a split game (more than one winner) during the Freeroll games ALL winning players of that game will win a seat to the Grand final.
